| Mr. Sam Kiwan Film Making Program Leader Qualifications: • Master of Arts-Film & Television (Aus) • Bachelor of Arts-Film & Television (Aus) (Double Major in Film & Television and International Relations) • Diploma In Film Making (NZ) • Certificate In Business (NZ) • Certificate In Understanding Teaching (NZ) Sam brings to the Diploma in Film Making an extensive experience as a film and video maker and teacher. As a cameraman he has worked in many parts of the world. Sam received his secondary school education in New Zealand and after completing a Certificate in Business studies at AUT University, moved to Australia when he enrolled at Bond University. There he completed a BA (double major in Film & Television and International Relations) and an MA in Film and Television. His practical experience has included roles as cameraman and director in Dubai and Australia, and a TV News Director at BNN on the Gold Coast. His teaching experience has included a position as a cinematography tutor at Bond University. |

Mr. Vince Beckett
Film Making - Industry Lecturer Vince Beckett is a veteran producer, having cut his teeth working on famous TV advertising campaigns at global ad agencies including Monahan Dayman Adams, Lintas Worldwide, Y&R and McCann Erickson. His Fortune 500 experience includes work on numerous brand leaders including; Coca Cola, Qantas, Bridgestone, General Motors, Polygram Records and many other global brands. In 1990’s he developed features and scripts for a number of television sports shows that were screened on New Zealand and Australian TV networks. He also developed and “packaged” a series of autosports TV shows for the newly emerging FOX Sports Network in the USA. More recent projects include packaging sports properties for the Speedvision Network in the USA, Interruption Television in Singapore and PlanetEX TV. |

Mr. Clive Cockburn
Film Making - Industry Lecturer Clive is a professional composer of music for film and television. Since 1980, Clive has produced TV commercials, documentaries and films. He was nominated five times and been successful on three, for the NZ Film and Television Awards. Clive's formal education was firstly studying classical piano and secondly with the Grove School of Music in Los Angeles where he studied composing and arranging. |
