Questions I should be asking myself before enrolling in an audio engineering course:

1) Will my academic qualifications be recognised if I decide to settle anywhere else than Australia?
2) Will I be studying a curriculum that has been developed by an international board of industry professionals?
3) Is that curriculum always updated according to what my future employers really expect me to know?
4) If I pay for an entire year of education, how many weeks will I really get for my money: 50 ?   40 ?   35 ???
5) Do I have individual access to the equipment... always?
6) Will I be competing with all the other students in my school to access just 3 or 4 studios?
7) Will I be working on the latest, industry standard gear?
8) After I graduate, will I get the opportunity to work in Australia’s biggest studio complex?
9) Will I have access to a library and broadband Internet?
10) Will I get to practice classical recording techniques on anything from a piano to a 20-piece ensemble?
11) Will I be able to practice sound for picture techniques, such as Foley recording and 5.1 surround mixing?
