ABLETON LIVE
The name says it all - from start to finish, Ableton's approach to music production is extremely live and spontaneous. Having a massive following with DJ's and electronic music producers, Live is probably the easiest software to learn, and if you're interested in performing electronic music on stage, then it is almost your only choice!

APPLE LOGIC
Logic is the first choice of most of the world's composer's and contemporary songwriters. At the price, it offers more sounds and effects than any other software package, turning your Mac computer into a complete music studio. Being developed by Apple computer, Logic runs exclusively on the mac platform.

DIGIDESIGN PRO TOOLS
Pro Tools is the software you'll most find in professional recording studios. If you're a musician who wants to record demos at home, or work in a pro facility, then this is the software for you. At it's most basic it works effortlessly like a tape recorder, but getting into it more deeply you'll discover an extremely powerful audio editor and mixing tool.

PROPELLERHEADS REASON
The concept of Reason is simple: take a selection of synths, drum machines and effects from the studios of yesteryear, create it in software, then make it work hands-on like the real gear! Reason features a very functional sequencer to record and tweak, and whilst it cannot record audio, it does integrate very nicely with all the above software.

FINAL CUT PRO
Final Cut Pro is fast becoming the preeminent video editing program in the world today. The program comes bundled with Apple’s other Final Cut Studio products such as Motion, Color, DVD Studio Pro, and Soundtrack Pro - to be a complete video production package from start to finish of any project. It is just as at home working on podcast edits as it is working on high definition productions. Being developed by Apple computer, Final Cut Pro runs exclusively on the mac platform.
